MONICA D. OFFREDI

Associate Attorney

Monica D. Offredi, Esq., is an Attorney at the Law Office of Christopher W. Rumbold, PLLC where she limits her practice to complex matrimonial and family law cases ceaselessly advocating for her clients while promoting amicable Dispute resolution.  Prior to her legal career, Ms. Offredi earned her BBA in Management from Florida International University in 2003 during which time she was consistently listed on the Dean's list.  Ms. Offredi's employment history in the banking/financial sector, provides her a strong foundation in complex financial, accounting and corporate issues.

Ms. Offredi earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.  Thereat, she received the pro bono honors award, was a member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and participated in the Immigration Law Clinic.  While in law school, Ms. Offredi gained valuable trial and court room experience interning at the Office of the State Attorney in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and at the Office of the Public Defender in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.  Ms. Offredi also interned for the Honorable Jose Rodriguez, Circuit Court Judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, in Miami, Florida.

 

Prior to joining the firm, and from 2014-2015, Ms. Offredi was employed as an Assistant Regional Counsel with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Broward County, Florida, Dependency division, where she gained extensive trial and courtroom experience.  In this capacity, she represented parents involved with the Department of Children and Families from shelter hearings through termination of parental rights trials.  Prior thereto, and from 2013-2014, Ms. Offredi was employed as a Program Attorney with the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program.  She represented the best interest of abused, neglected and abandoned children in Dependency court proceedings.  Ms. Offredi’s dedication to Florida's families and abused, neglected and abandoned children provides her a strong foundation in familial, interpersonal and children's issues.

Ms. Offredi currently serves as the Treasurer of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association.  She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida bar, the Broward County Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association and numerous other charitable organizations.

 

Ms. Offredi is proficient in Spanish as a second language, and she enjoys reading and traveling.
